We will have 12 children entering school in September. They range in grade from pre-school to 8th grade. We want to make sure that each of these children starts the year with exactly the supplies that they are supposed to have including backpacks. With the cuts the schools are facing supply lists are growing to include things like ziploc bags, band aids, and kleenex. To the families we serve all these items are out of their extremely tight budgets. We plan to acquire each child’s list and purchase the needed items. Donations will make this possible, helping ensure that each of these students gets off to a great start of their school year. Please bring the supplies to a Tuesday night dinner at First Baptist or give to a volunteer who can take the donation.
